Telecom complaints where evidence and timeline matter
The builder helps you organise the facts behind common communications provider problems so you can understand what happened, prepare the evidence and decide which complaint route may be worth considering.
Outages, slow speed, delayed repair, activation failures and missed appointments.
Coverage, roaming, number porting, PAC/STAC, SIM, handset and unexpected-charge disputes.
Incorrect charges, price rises, discounts, early termination, refunds and credit balances.
One Touch Switch, cancellation, deadlock, complaint handling and ADR readiness.
Communications provider issues this pack can help organise
Use this guidance to choose the right evidence before building your Broadband & Mobile Complaint Pack. The pack remains evidence-led and does not promise any refund, bill correction or compensation outcome.
Provider complaint first
Use the provider's formal complaints code and keep the complaint date and reference.
Six-week ADR point
An unresolved complaint may generally move to ADR after six weeks, or earlier with deadlock.
Two approved ADR schemes
Communications Ombudsman and CISAS are approved. Verify which scheme the provider currently belongs to.
Price-rise dates matter
For new contracts since January 2025, specified rises must be shown clearly in pounds and pence before sign-up.
One Touch Switch
This is the broadband and landline process. Record gaining and losing provider messages and any loss of service.
PAC and STAC
Mobile switching uses PAC to keep a number or STAC to end service and take a new number; it is not One Touch Switch.
Automatic compensation
Potential eligibility depends on a participating fixed-service provider, qualifying event and current scheme rules.
Evidence before assertions
Use contracts, bills, speed or outage records, switching messages, complaints, responses and direct loss evidence.
You review and send
The builder creates no CRM record and does not submit automatically. Check the pack before using the official route.
Official and regulatory references
These references support the wider context. They do not decide the outcome of any individual complaint.

Quaerens Complaint Pack Framework™
Free Broadband & Mobile Complaint Pack Builder™
Prepare a professional service, billing, contract, switching, cancellation or complaint-handling file using the shared Framework A workflow.
Important telecom complaint boundaries
This builder is for consumer-facing communications provider complaints. It does not replace urgent safety reporting, legal advice, regulated debt advice or supplier emergency procedures.
If you smell gas, have a dangerous meter issue, face imminent disconnection, have received court papers or are dealing with warrant action, seek urgent specialist help and contact the relevant supplier or emergency route immediately.
Before using your Complaint Pack
This builder organises telecom-account facts, evidence, supplier routes and a self-service complaint pack. It does not submit complaints automatically or promise refunds, compensation, bill corrections or Ombudsman acceptance.
Review every factual entry against your bills, meter readings, payment records and correspondence before sending anything to a supplier, ombudsman or complaint portal.
